The hotel was great in general, had lovely staff from check-in to maintenance and maids. The room was kept very clean and available with 1 bed. Having hairdryers and a shower cap was a bonus. Location: the property was short walk to many attractions in the ares and the mountains in the background and the forests. It also was in the Central Drakensberg area.

Truly enjoyed staying at the clean twin/double room with 1 bed available. All the staff was absolutely amazing, tackled my issues. The hotel's location was remote, within reach of several beautiful hiking trails.

suitable accommodation for celebrating anniversary. location near the drakensberg, the surrounding areas, waffle hut, brewery, chocolate shop ect and 3 waterfalls. and a 10-minute walk from cathkin equestrian center.

It is also centrally located, making it convenient to access all the activities in the area. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. The service is friendly but the breakfast could use some improvement. the hotel offers great facilities and advantages such as a boat cruise and a well-equipped kitchen.

My stay at Drakensberg Sun Resort was a delightful experience. The view from my room was breathtaking, with stunning mountains in the distance. The staff outside, who were giving away popcorn, were incredibly friendly and energetic, adding a cheerful touch to my day. The resort's location was excellent, allowing for scenic hikes around the area. The food at the hotel exceeded my expectations, with a wide variety of delicious vegan options available. I highly recommend this resort for its amazing views, great location, friendly staff, and delightful dining options.

We had an exceptional experience at the resort. The venue was stunning, with well-maintained grounds and breathtaking scenery. The hotel facilities were great, accommodating kids very well. Our children enjoyed swimming and playing at the Xscape room, giving us peace of mind as parents. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to outdoor activities and all the attractions in the area. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices. The staff was ultra-friendly and provided world-class service, making us feel at home throughout our stay.

The noise level from nearby construction was unbearable at times and made it difficult to work in my room during the day. Additionally, the housekeeping staff did not always replace the towels in my room, resulting in me having to use wet towels for drying.
